Dominican Republic: Third National Report on monitoring the implementation of the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development. 2023

The first part of this report provides information on the national coordination mechanism that acts as a permanent link to the CRPD. In the second part, a brief general description of the country is made: the demographic and economic characteristics, as well as the political structure and institutionality and the legal framework related to the priority measures of the Consensus. The third part examines the national implementation, main advances, gaps, challenges, lines, goals and the respective time horizon on which the examination focuses and the national indicators that are used to monitor the Montevideo Consensus. In the fourth part, the conclusions, challenges and steps to follow.
