The report contains four chapters, the first of which reviews the background, the legal and political framework of the country, as well as a brief demographic description. The methodology used for the elaboration of the report is described, highlighting the consultation with public institutions and the continuous dialogue with representatives of the Cairo+20 Leading Group, made up of more than 50 civil society organisations, as well as with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).The second chapter consists of institutional actions for each of the nine themes of the Montevideo Consensus. The third chapter contains the assessments of the Cairo+20 Leading Group on the nine themes of the Consensus. The fourth chapter contains the indicators for each of the nine themes, with the most recent data found, with the caveat that there are still several indicators for which Guatemala does not produce information that allows us to answer them.
