The report covers the period 2018-2021. It begins with a general description of the country, which includes the sociodemographic and economic characteristics of the population, as well as the institutional and programmatic trajectory in relation to population and development issues. Likewise, it includes monitoring indicators and the main advances in the application of the Consensus of population groups such as women, children, adolescents and youth, older adults, indigenous peoples, among others. It also examines the implementation of the priority measures of the Montevideo Consensus, presenting good practices and challenges.
