Paraguay: National report on progress in the implementation of the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development. 2013-2018
The document is divided into four parts. The first includes information on the national coordination mechanism with the Regional Conference on Population and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean and the process of preparing the report. The second part presents the current situation of the country and the National Action Plan on Population and Development for the period 2018 and 2019. The third part presents the progress made in each chapter of the Consensus; taking into consideration the priority measures selected in terms of the legal and programmatic framework and a contextualization of the country's reality based on official statistics, as well as the progress made in the development of indicators that make monitoring possible. The fourth part contains the final reflections, challenges and next steps to be taken.
