Peru faces important challenges, which will be noted throughout this report, in areas such as education, health, social security, sexual and reproductive rights, gender equality, among others; the efforts of the State are committed, within the framework of its public policies, to the measures of the Montevideo Consensus and the purpose of achieving social welfare, gender equality and the effective exercise of rights for the Peruvian people.
