Peru: Third Report on progress in the implementation of the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development. 2020-2022
In the first part of the document, there is a general description of the country, the institutions regarding population and the national coordination mechanism to follow up on the agreements. In the second part, the advances and good practices for each of the axes established by the Montevideo Consensus through policies and regulations related to issues of population integration in sustainable development; rights of childhood, adolescence and youth; aging; sexual and reproductive health; gender equality; international migration; territorial inequality; indigenous peoples; and Afro-descendant population. In addition, the evolution of the indicators for monitoring the Consensus is presented, with specific data to understand the progress and the challenges to be faced.
