Institutional Framework
Although there is no government body in Barbados that deals specifically with population issues, the body that is permanently concerned with these issues is the Ministry of Finance, Economy and Investment (MFAI), whose purpose is to promote the planning, monitoring and evaluation of non-financial public investment through the National Public Investment System (SINIP) and contribute to the achievement of the development objectives set out in the government's plan.
Participation
The country does not report the existence of mechanisms that consider the participation of civil society in the implementation and follow-up of the Montevideo Consensus.
