Meddata is a system that captures patient information from our Primary and Secondary Care Facilities (Queen Elizabeth Hospital). This data includes Mortality data, Bed Utilization data, Mental health admissions, Birth rates and Eye services.
General Objectives
To provide a comprehensive and integrated electronic health record (EHR) system for all citizens of Barbados. The BHIS allows healthcare providers to access patient information from any location, improve the quality of care, and reduce costs.
