The Home Care Programme is intended to negate or delay the need for institutional care by delivering services to older persons in their homes and communities. Workers are assigned to the homes of vulnerable, elderly persons to assist with activities of daily living. Services offered are cooking, cleaning, washing, grooming, personal hygiene and limited shopping.
