The Labour Inspectorate Unit (LIU) is the monitoring and enforcement arm of the Ministry of Labour with responsibility for compliance with the Maternity Protection Act, 1998. Labour Inspectors investigate complaints and conduct routine inspections to monitor compliance with the Maternity Protection Act 1998.
