The NES is Government’s free public employment service that provides job matching services, counselling to job-seekers as well as assistance in preparing for the world of work and improving job-seekers’ employability by providing guidance in résumé writing, interview skills and professional dress.
The NES partners with community-based and faith-based organisations as well as other Government Ministries, Divisions and Agencies to conduct World of Work (WoW) Seminars. This is usually done as requested by these organizations as well as for secondary schools. Sessions are held virtually, face to face or hybrid with secondary schools, and allows greater access to job vacancies for jobseekers through technical innovation. The initiative also creates opportunities for persons to remotely apply for employment online.
The NES provides job placement, counseling and advisory services.
